This butterfly is made from 2 coffee filters and 2 pipe cleaners.
One pipe cleaner is folded in half and used to make the butterfly. The second pipe cleaner is attached to the body to wave or fly it with.
The coffee filters are accordion folded and held in the middle with a twist of the pipe cleaner.
After you add the second set of wings, make a few more twists and then put a little curl on the end of the pipe cleaners for the antenna.
Now the real fun begins as they decorate them with watercolors and wave them around to dry them.
