While sorting through things today I came across this old photo of flowers from my garden. i added a bit of scrap paper and stuck it on a watercolor card then grabbed my colored pencils to add a design to the card and envelope.
The amazing thing about that just as I finished it and was writing this post three letters arrived in the mail so I've got something special to answer one of them on and the inspiration to decorate a few more card and envelope sets.
The card was done with regular watercolors and a brush.
I was concerned about too much water because the envelopes are a lighter weight paper so I used watercolor pencils on that and a blender.
