...and for my next trick

Today I thought I'd try to capture those Double, Ruffled Daffodils In watercolor. The perspective on everything was a bit off to start with and as I worked I wasn't quite sure where to go with things. I'd drawn the vase too low in the picture because I was trying to leave enough space for the flowers. I'm trying a variety of different methods and ideas on the table and background as I decide whether or not to lift more color off of the flowers. This process could take a while so I may move on and write about other things as I continue to work on it. Wish me luck!
