The squirrel, the sunflowers and the story

 I'm STILL trimming back those roses and grapevines and can even see bits of the fence now. I'm trying to create more of a hedge by cutting things the same height as the bushes along the side of the yard. You can see a bit of what I'm talking about on the left side of the bush.

 There was a great sunflower blooming just behind the bench last night but before I could get a chance to draw it or paint it the squirrel had eaten part of it and left the rest of it sitting on the table.

 There were a couple of interesting sunflowers left so I took these pictures before cutting them and starting a series of drawings. The squirrel won't get these!
