It had been a long time since the last gardening season in Minnesota so it was a real joy to find my daffodils blooming this morning. I cut 2 and put them in a glass jar from my recycling to bring them indoors so I could enjoy them with pen and pencil as I wrote a letter to my cousin while I had my coffee. I gently turned the jar from time to time to catch the flowers at different angles for the drawings I did on the paper and the envelope.
Later in the day as I replied to a letter from a friend I made a notecard from the photo I took of
the daffodils sitting on my teatray out on the patio. Those little flowers sure got around and I had the opportunity to share them with 2 different people and drew some on the second envelope as well.
