One of the kids I'm drawing a card for loves purple so I thought it was a great reason to go back to drawing Iris and find a new way to use my favorite flower at the same time.
I'm going to add colored pencil next and see how I like that. Wish me luck!
I thought you might like to see how it's coming along so far. I'm getting excited about this idea because I've got some oval boxes to paint and by changing some of the colors I could make it look like a lace border which would be really cute on it.
No wonder people find it so funny when I say "my ideas have ideas". It's SOOOO true!!!
I think it turned out pretty well, don't you? I can't wait to see what she thinks of it.
