Carnations
I hadn't done any drawing in a log time so I thought I'd start out easy and do a bit in the mail. This one was on a large envelope that went out today.
This drawing was on another envelope. The red and blue versions are from my computer.

Progress on the painting, flower to frame
I don't remember how long this old iris drawing has been in this frame but I needed something to put the painting in and it will have to do for now.
I haven't decided what to do with the drawing yet. It's about 18 years old, maybe more.
This painting was just 3 years start to finish, I've got some that I've been working on for decades.

Art Exhibit in the Garden. Putting the Birdhouse in place
Where else would this Birdhouse hang but on the arbor which is eventually becoming the major sculpture that anchors the Art Garden here. There's no more Hanging Space left on it so the new Blue and White Birdhouse by Guest Artist Becca Latter will hang over with the bird feeders until we can make another place to hang it.
Here are some pictures of each side of the roof

Repainting a birdhouse
We only saw 2 birds in the yard today. A Hummingbird flitting around the grapevines and a Goldfinch at the thistle seed feeder but I realized that Summer is going by fast and I decided to repaint one of the empty birdhouses while I had a chance to.
I decided not to paint over the Iris on the roof and decided to work around them.
No real plan or design with the painting, just having a little fun with color.
