Step number 5, mailbox project

Step 5. Paint yourself happy. I like to make things up as I go but you may want to use a pattern. There are NO rules so just enjoy yourself. There is no right or wrong way to do this project.

My mailbox used to have all sorts of layers of designs. One year it was covered in roses, another Iris and the last couple of years it's been covered with pine sones and branches.

a light sanding left some of the pine branches behind so I'm incorporating them into the new design as leaves for tiny Iris.
