Water Conservation Systems

 The black hose coming out of the house  next to our rain barrel is attached to the sump pump. For those of you that might not live in places with basements. I'll try to explain. There is a lake in my neighborhood and the water table is high here so sometimes when there's a lot of rain it seeps into the basement under the house.
The purpose of the pump is to take any water out of the basement and put it back outside.

 We put a lot of extra plastic tubing together so we can take any of the extra water from the sump pump and run it out to any of my trees or bushes that need watering.

 I've got gravel around the tree and a small trench at the outside edge of that to help disperse the water more evenly and make it all look a bit nicer too.
