When you get to be this size mobility is a major issue but I don't care. Any way that I can get down on the ground to do some planting works as long as I'm pretty sure that I can get back up.
Today I'm planting Iris and lilies in the same hole so that there will be something blooming there most of the summer.
Now that they're in I'm a happy girl and thought I'd relax a while in the sun before trying to get up again. Don't worry, it wasn't that hard to get up again and then I went in the house to rest up a while until I felt better.
I don't care what my health does, I'd much rather be out in the sun and "playing in the dirt" than sitting around in the house, wouldn't you?
