Bright Yellow for Spring
You caught me daydreaming of the time when I can have flowers blooming in the yard instead of confined to pots in the house. I started with pen and ink drawings yesterday and am moving on to colored pencil today.
If the flowers last long enough I'll be moving on to acrylics next.

Yellow blue and green
Here are some pictures of another dala horse I'm working on. I started t his one yesterday and am enjoying it so far. I just haven't decided on a third color to add to the mix.
I got a lot of drawing today but it was all on the edges of my letters and on the envelopes. They went out in the mail before I got a chance to scan them into the computer. I'll try to get pictures next time.

Banish the Darkness
I felt that the flowers were getting lost in the dark background and they really seem to "pop" against the lighter one. What do you think?
There's still a lot more work to be done but I'm happy with the progress and am enjoying the process. I'd start writing about how it feels when I paint or what I'm thinking as I work but I'm not sure that would really interest anyone but me.

Birch Trees and Falling leaves
This is probably not an angle that most people would photograph them from but I love looking up into the trees, don't you?
This is where I like to sit in the yard these days and it may explain the look and angle of the photos...I guess you could say that I'm "sitting down on the job."
Yes, I couldn't resist bringing out one of my crochet projects as well. This is going to be a mat to put on the table under a hot casserole dish. It's kind of funny that it more or less blends in to the rest of the yard.

Triple Treat
I cut 3 varieties of lilies in the garden today. It's nice to have different sizes, shapes and colors to work with. I haven't started the drawings and paintings yet but I should have something new to show you tomorrow.
