This pair of Cardinals spends a lot of time here these days. I'm afraid that the female tends to blend in with the tree in this photo so I'll attempt to catch them from another angle next time.
The woodpeckers were also here as well as some chickadees but I didn't manage to get any pictures this time.
I just love having the bird feeders outside the window and removing the screen makes them easier to photograph.
I still haven't gotten around to drawing or painting them but each year I come a bit closer to giving it a try...after all, it's going to be a Looong winter.
